Idea Quarter Waterloo is a district associated with Philip Street, David Johnston Research + Technology Park, the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. The district name and visual identity was approved by the City of Waterloo in 2015. The design was inspired by the interactivity of a contemporary business community (dots) and the moment of discovery (exclamation point).
